Childhood Unplugged – January 2017

A week goes by so crazy fast. You try to fit in as much quality time as you can, but it just never seems like enough when you are spending it with the ones you love. My sister’s family was here for Hadley’s second Christmas. We were blessed to have her last year when she was celebrating her first one, so two years in a row was a treat. With Christmas celebrations we kept our time together simple but did manage to get out on a couple of occasions.

When back home is Michigan in the middle of winter, a trip to the beach is a must, so we headed to our favorite spot, South Pointe Pier. We always park far and take the long way allowing the kids to play a little longer before reaching the beach. We are truly blessed to live in such a beautiful place that has amazing weather all year long. Winter in Miami is my favorite season.

Childhood Unplugged is a collaboration I share with 11 other photographers. You can click here to see what the others have been up to for December. Also you can follow us on Instagram and Facebook. Tag your unplugged moments with #childhoodunplugged for a chance to have your image featured on Instagram. Thank you so very much for your continued support.
